Prepare for an Epic Return to the Cosmos with Enhanced Graphics and Gameplay!
Since the release of Metroid Prime Remaster, fans have also been asking for Metroid Prime 2 Remaster. Originally released in 2004, it was a Game Cube title. Senior industry insider Jeff Grubb revealed that remakes for both Metroid Prime 2 and 3 are in the works and it looks like a second installment is coming soon.
Metroid Prime 2 Remaster coming soon
On the latest episode of Game Mess by Jeff Grubb, Grubb revealed this new development.
He said:It’s likely that a Metroid Prime 2 Remaster will be out soon, and it does. Something not related to Kingdom Tears is also happening to Zelda this year, I’m told.
So, not only is Metroid Prime 2, but we’re also getting something Zelda-related this year. Although that’s the entirety of the information Grubb has so far. In addition, Grubb too open Earlier this year, the sequel didn’t get the same treatment as the first remaster.
Metroid Prime Remaster has received a complete graphics overhaul, along with improved mechanics and user interface. However, this will reportedly not be the case for the next installment. While it may not be overhauled, it’s still exciting to finally be able to get access to the sequel after nearly 20 years.
But this is a rumor at the moment as nothing has been announced by the studios. But given that Grubb was the one to break the news of the Metroid Prime Remaster as well, this seems like a pretty legit thing to do.
