Released in theaters in April, The Super Mario Bros. Movie is one of 2023’s biggest film to date based on box office results. It pulled in more than $1.3 billion, only slightly less than Barbie.
You don’t necessarily need to buy the movie to watch it from the comfort of your own home. The Super Mario Bros. Movie is also available on Paramount+, so you could always sign up for a month of Paramount’s streaming service and watch it there instead.
Given the enormous success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, a sequel is probably coming. Beyond that, there have been reports of a Zelda animated film, and producer Chris Meledandri did not deny them.
