Strategic Battles and Customizable Mechs: Unraveling Armored Core 6’s Unique PvP Gameplay
Pictures of the back of the Armored Core 6: Rubicon physical box fires have leaked in Japanese storefronts, and if we’re not fooled, the box revealed that the game will feature 6-player PvP with spectators.
The last Armored Core game to pay tribute to fans was Armored Core: Verdict Day in 2013, making it a full decade since our last dive into FromSoftware’s mech action series. Sadly, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will arrive next month, on August 25th, and hopefully it will offer more of the solid FromSoftware gameplay we know and love.
This is only next month, and players seem to have a lot to get excited about, especially given the awesome new story teaser teased last week.
First shared on the Armored Core subreddit, box images of the upcoming game have leaked at actual Japanese retailers. If the leaks are to be believed, the back of the box shows that PvP will be available for up to six players. Moreover, three spectators will be able to join in and watch the action unfold.
PvP or any multiplayer game for that matter has not been confirmed by developer FromSoftware. However, we didn’t wait long at all before we could check out the supposed PvP mode for ourselves. Are you going to have some competitive PvP tournaments with friends?
I’m not sure if I’ll like Armored Core VI or not, but I really like the big mechs, and also the idea of competing with my friends in mech style. what do you think?
