FromSoftware has brought the Armored Core series back, and for those of you who have waited over a decade Armored Core 6: The Rubicon firesToday, a new preview of the game was released.

As the video shows, success in the game comes from tinkering with highly customizable mechanical builds. Learning the right strategies and techniques, such as attacking enemies with appropriate weapons, combining ranged attacks with melee, and taking advantage of every advantage in battle will also lead to success.
The story of Armored Core 6 revolves around a substance called coral. It was discovered on the planet Rubicon and hailed as one of the energy sources that would bring about a “quantum leap” in human society. But this “new age” was not to be.
This is because once upon a time, corals caused disaster as flames and storms engulfed the surrounding star systems, leaving a trail of deadly pollution in their wake. Since then, the area has been under strict surveillance, and is now under siege around the Rubicon.

It’s been nearly half a century since the disaster, but history has a way of repeating itself as another unknown substance has been discovered on a faraway developing planet. He thus caused a struggle between the secretive invaders and the “greedy rebels”, and there were signs of an all-out struggle with the independent mercenaries about to throw themselves into the maelstrom.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicom will launch on August 25th for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
